  1. OK...I have a movie, and I know that there is a lot of things that I must do to it before I can burn it to DVD-R to view on my DVD player. The movie shot is in .avi format. The name of the file is:

    movie. ts.centropy.svcd.rip.sbc. scr.avi

The movie is only 1 hour and 2 minutes...but when tried to view in this format using windows media player, it does not display sound or picture and lists the time as over 7 hours. It's 25 frames/second and a 44kbps data rate. Now that you know everything that I do, I'd like to hear what you feel I need to do to convert this. Thanks for all the help!

Now that you know everything that I do,
I know that the movie was probably d/l'd and discussing it is against the forum rules.

I've never seen a downloaded video with the CENTROPY name that wasn't illegal I.E. usually a pre-release or screener copy of a movie not yet officially on video.

We should NOT be talking about this.

The person with this file is recommended to DELETE the file ASAP and await an official video release.

If it says Centropy, it is not legal in the USA. I have never seen, nor likely will ever see a legal movie with a Centropy release tag. When I do see that, I will know that they have sold themselves out. This one is some POS Divx hack job of some screener or another.

Centropy is a group that post illegal movies on the internet, therefore discussion of converted movies release by them are against forum rules.
