The innovatek ds-701 claims it reads the following formats:

Compatible with DVD/DVD-R/SVCD/DVCD/VCD/CD/CD-RCD-RW/MP3

I like many want to use DVD-R disks with MP3's on them and play them. I am tired of carrying around 6/700meg CD's with MP3's when I could carry only 1 DVD-R disk.

Google searches have not turned up anything. Neither did a search here on dvd players.
