I am running into some issues using the above configuration. I would like to capture straight MPEG2 video and burn straight to DVD (maybe cutting some footage with the DVD authoring program). Premiere and Matrox split the Video and Audio into two separate files - thereby making the captured file unreadable to most DVD authoring programs. DVDit LE (which came bundled with the Matrox card) will take the files, but the program itself is very unstable and it does not allow for the insertion of Chapter markers.

Can anyone make some suggestions on either how to make it work with my current config (i.e. spend no money, just time) or a video capture card that has both S-Video and composite inputs. I used to have an ATI Card). Are those TV cature cards any good?

Thanks to all!
