  1. Guys,

Is there anyway I can have a single 500mb MPG file
which is ready for a VCD burn and make multiple chapters
    out of it.

I would like the chapters to play without interupption as
on a DVD, breaking the MPG into multiple MPG's and burning as tracks causes a pause between tracks..

How can I either mark tracks in a single large MPG or
burn multiple tracks without the pause?

    Cheers

    Gary

This can be done for SVCD/MPEG-2 but I am unaware if it is possible to do this for VCD/MPEG-1.

I believe VCDImager is used to make chapters for SVCD/MPEG-2.. not sure... check it out and check if it works for VCD =|

  4. Both VCD2.0 and SVCD support entrypoints (i.e., chapters). The functionality between VCD2.0 and SVCD in this respect is identical.

Note: these are "entrypoints" not discrete physical "tracks".

If you do a search on "entrypoints" and "vcdimager" on the forum, you will find much more information.

    Regards.

  5. go to forum AUTHORING AND BURNING. there you'll know how to do it step by step. my question is, when watching dvd movies, do you use these chapters often? if not, then why bother make chapters.

  6. Gadget,

Yeah, sometimes I like to skip to a particular fight
scene or action scene or to skip the credits and stuff like
    that..
