  1. Hi,
    I input a *.m2v and a ac3 audio to ifoedit.
It came out to be 4 vob files,
How can I (optional?) have ifoedit to make only one vob file?

  2. I believe that's what it does make VOB files about 1GB so if the final total file size is 4GB you are going to have four VOB files.

I don't know that look in options to see if you can set the file size. If the file size is 4GB any DVDR may not play in a stand alone player IMO.

  5. If I've got 3 files with 1GB respectly
I still hope there's any way to make them to 1 VOB with 3GB.
Coz I dont plan to burn into DVD
Only I want to play it on PC.
So too many files trivial me.

  6. In accordance with the DVD spec, the maximum cutoff size of a VOB is 1 GB.

You could probably find a way to make a 4 GB VOB (somehow) but the likelyhood of that file playing on a set top player is unbeknownst to me. Might play on a rom drive - who knows :P

If you need/want 1 big file, why don't you make an image with ImgTools and mount that with DaemonTools? This will result in 1 big ISO file.

You have to mount them with ImgTools (as I wrote before). After that, they look like normal DVD ROMs to PowerDVD and other SW players.
