  1. HI, i'm new to all of this business but i have decrypted a dvd and then burnt using nero vision express, the only problem is when i play back on dvd or computer i have the original soundtrack in the background with the director speaking over the top about who why and where he has done something..... can i get rid of it so i only hear the film?

    Sounds like you ripped the wrong soundtrack. You got the one with the directors comments. I would guess you will have to rip it again.

  3. Ive donw that..its even worse when you end up with a french soundtrack n no english..unless your french or course.

    Dont you mean Nero Recode instead of Vision Express, I tried it on one disc n it wouldnt play so havnt used it again

  4. Look, you keep selecting the wrong track. Figure out which track is the english one and select it, usually it's the first one. I've never used Nero Recode so I cannot say for sure. You could always try DVD2ONE which actually tells you what the tracks are( i.e. English, French, Directors Commentary, Etc...)

  5. i've double checked and i have ripped the only files that contain the full movie. any other ideas? i have noticed that when you go into edit movie for chapters etc there are 2 audio lines but i cant seem to delete either.

  6. Ummm yeah, try pressing the language (or something like it) button on the DVD remote to switch the current audio track selection to english 5.1 (or 2.0 if the movie does not have 5.1)

    It's the processing of the dvd to dvd-r. That is when you select the track. not when you rip it. Take your time and read some of the guides on this site
