Hi everybody
Has anybody come across the problem i am having with my LG GSA 4040B FIRMWARE A301
I have Burnt 12 films from my collection of DVD,S. all @ 4x speed
6 have worked perfectly All under 4,283,918 in size
6 have not All over 4,392.254 in size Play ok until near end of films
11 burnt too Bulkpaq orange 4x.speed gen 4 (4 bad ) freeze and picture break up
1 too Bigpockets 4xspeed (bad ) freeze and picture break up
Software used is a mix of Decrypter, DVDshrink .CloneDVD
So to am questions
1 Is my writer faulty
2 Are the blank media c##p (as i have read good reports about Bp orange )
As a Newbie i look forward to any comments or suggestions

It is most probably your media, but, to track it down, use all the resources available to you on this site.

Look up your media (left DVD MEDIA) and read all the comments from members/users there.

Do the same for your burner (in DVD WRITERS) and check what works best for other owners.

Repeat that process for your Player(s) (DVD PLAYERS) and read what discs work best.

For problem media, especially toward the end, you can try reducing burn speed and limiting size to less than 4G.
