  1. Hey,

I was wondering if any one had a template or could just tell me the settings to get best quality out of converting an AVI (divx dvd-rip) to VCD?

Another thing is I have got an avi movie file which is 20 frames per second and I want to convert it to NTSCfilm, but by doing that the video would play on my DVD player jumpy wouldnt it? Anyway of getting around this?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. If you want 'true' VCD specs, it has to be a certain bitrate (1150 I think) and resolution (352x240 I think). But if your DVD player will play XVCDs, then you can increase those numbers which increases quality. As far as the framerate, if you are converting with TMPGEnc, set your output to 29fps and turn on '3:2 pulldown'.
