    when i convert a avi or mpeg if it is in widescreen i make a vcd out of it i put it in my dvd player i only get half a screen please help the picture is squashed up in the top half of the screen
    i use tmpeng

    You use TMPGEnc, what burning program are you using?
    If you are using Nero, are you burning mpeg2 as VCD
    instead of SVCD?
