Can I convert .wmv files to .gif (animated gifs)?

And is there a way I can set it to loop, and shrink the size of the frames?

I probably need a good gif animation program, but Windows Movie Maker did the job. But now I just don't know how to make it gif, resize it, and set it to loop (so that it can be an animated avatar for message boards).

load the file thru tmpgenc choose file/output to file/sequence and select a part of the film you want to be set to sequence clips and run those files thru a animated gif editor prog,animation shop from psp7 or psp8.

Ahh well, if I need an GIF animation program, I might as well start again through that. It was easy to make.

Besides I discovered that it wasn't realy a good idea to use a movie making program for gif animation, cause it added empty space around the frame that I didn't want. That's too bad. Oh well.
