I picked one of these up a couple weeks ago now from another on-line vender for a total of $121.00 and that included shipping!

Not my first DVD burner but my first combo DVD burner and so far it has been working great at 4x using the BeAll 1x-4x Certified DVD-R discs from Meritline.com

I haven't had a chance yet to use any other type of media but I plan on sticking with the BeAll or Fuji (the Japanese made DVD-R discs) that I sometimes buy from BEST BUY when I need a DVD-R in a pinch (I'm out and can't/don't want to wait for mail order).

YES I noticed that price too when looking through the Sunday paper. Unbelievable price for such a nice sized HDD and I've heard that Seagate is a good brand too.

About 6 months ago (give or take) I paid $89.99 for a similiar spec 80GB HDD
