HI.
i asked an question before about if u could burn several svcd movies on one dvd, and play it on the dvd.
The answer was...if ur player can handle it.
I am qompletly lost in this ......but how do i know IF my player can handle a burned dvd with more then one svcd movie on it?
My player is an Yamaha DVD-S540.
Yes...i have searched for it...just dont understand.

Seem to be very frustrated from your other post..not able to get some straightforward answer!! Well don't be!! lot of guys also have the same predicament. Just be patient.
Anyway the answer to your question is YES. You have a very good player and it can played all format. SVCD is also mpeg2 but you have to change the header. There is a guide around on HOW-TO Search for it. Although I have not tried it but I would recommend that you do a re-code to DVD fully compliant mpeg, it's safer. Just lower your bitrate to 2000 and your file is not much bigger than a svcd
