  1. Does anyone know if the latest version of DVD2SVCD can support a higher version than CCE 2.50? I have been looking around but can't find anything specific enough.

    Thanks

  2. there's lots of info on this at the DVD2SVCD forum on doom9.

It can work with versions of CCE other than 2.5, but you have to set it to safe mode, as it needs to frameserve differently into the encoder (I think it uses the VFAPI codec to frameserve into CCE.)

This make things a lot slower - but at least it works.

    cheers,

    edit - see this page:

    http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/dvd2svcd.htm

(additional CCE note: it's also possible to use a version of CCE SP higher than 2.50 but in this case you have to use the safe mode - more about this later)
and on the DVD2SVCD Basic setup page:

If you have CCE greater than 2.50 you must check Safe mode. This will increase encoding time considerably but at least it will work with newer versions.
