  1. hi

i am a returning to encodeing vcds now heres my problem.

i am using the latest tmpengc with the divx 3,11 alpa codecs...and my dvd player is an apex ad-1110 player...i only use the old codecs cuz i bought a 40 dollar dvd player

    now heres the questions..

1.is there any problems with the latest tmpge??

2.is my dvd player EVEN capable of playing vcd 2.0 or Svcds correctly??

3.i didnt have these problems on my old ad 1100w model.

4.when i was using the old tmpgenc i didnt have these problems and if i am not mistaken i had MORE choices with the encoding settings..

5.i am not a newb at encoding vcds so i know what i am doing..

6.what type of cdr do you guys reccomend me to use for vcds and svcds??

7.how come on my new dvd player some of my vcds play in like slow motion??...again i dont know if the bit rate is too high or its the media i am using

can anyone please tell me what i am doing wrong??

BTW heres my settings in tmpgnc

    1.vcd 70 mins
    2.704x480
3.full screen keep aspect ratio 2

thats all i can thibnk of for now i am not at home right now so i cant be 100 percent sure what my settings are

  2. a vcd is not 704x480.
    it should be 352x240.
what you are making is an Xvcd and maybe thats why your player is giving you a hard time.
try it with the proper settings and see what you get.
just load the vcd Template in tmpeg.
HELL AINT A BAD PLACE TO BE

anyway now that the problem is fixed can anyone of you guys reccomend me ANOTHER program that encodes and burns vcd like nero burning rom??

    THANKS!!
