When are you able to sleep again?

When I decided to convert my old VHS tapes to VCD, I spent DAYS and WEEKS reading this web site. I studied, I shopped for software, I read guides until my head hurt. I got my stuff together to make my first VCD and found that certain combinations of software and media didn't work too well with my set-up. I tried this, and I tried that, and I read some more. I got dark circles under my eyes from no sleep and too much computer time.

At last, I discovered the magic formula, and everything worked like it should; I started making VCDs exactly as I had envisioned. I was so happy; I nearly cried when I made the first really good VCD (at 3:00 a.m. I'm a little emotional). I started producing -- no coasters!!! This was really, really FUN!!! I got more ideas for menus, editing...MORE FUN!! I even ripped a DVD just to see if I could --- REAL FUN!!!

Now I'm up nights and weekends HAVING A LOT OF FUN -- but still no sleep. Will I ever be normal again??

Yes, you will sleep again. Until you get a DVD burner and decide you need to move your entire collection to DVD!
Could be worse.... You could be out on the streets at night getting into trouble..

I've worked very hard and it has paid off. I couldn't have done it without this forum. I don't know anyone else who is interested in this sort of thing so I don't get to speak of it.

I can understand about not being able to tell people. Besides my husband, the rest of my family has no idea what I do. They change the subject soon as I mention DVDs :c).
