    Has anyone ever had this problem when burning an SVCD with multiple files: At the end of each file there is a pause in the video, a few seconds and then the next portion begins? I find it highly annoying, and was wondering how I could join the mpegs together to make 1 file so this problem never occurs? Is it a huge waste of my time or is there a fast, freeware program that can solve this for me? any info here would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys.

    You can glue the mpeg2s together with TMPGenc,
    but you run a slight risk of A/V un-sync or worse.
