A friend recommended these discs. They're a little more expensive than Princos.(average cost) I did a search on the name brand(even tried photis) and came up with nothing. Anyone here ever hear of them?, Or better yet try them? I may try to obtain a few singles this weekend. If they're available as such. I won't go for a spindle, just yet.

Sounds like you need to run a couple past DVDinfo pro and see who really makes them. Never heard of them yet either. Do they make an inkjet printable disk?
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?

The merchant said they were made by CMC, but wasn't sure. Unfortunately they were sold out of singles, so no tests this weekend. I wasn't about to chance money on a spindle of 25, after those awful LongTen discs. They have silver tops. I didn't ask if they were inkjet printable.

If they have a silver tops they are not ink jet printable. I'd stay away from CMC disc. There are a few good ones out there but its usually not worth the gamble.

Chaos Math can you please run a couple of those Fotis discs past DVDinfopro to check the media ID. So we can see if CMC really makes them? I suspect they have the same ID as those FAKE Maxells talked about in this forum.
