After posting this thread https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=178324 about the problems I am having with burned PC DVD-Ram discs playing on my E60 (i.e. I want to burn re-writable discs on my pc and test them on my TV before I burn finalized DVD-R's), I found out that the Panasonic HS2 will play DVD-RW discs (even though Panasonics site doesn't mention this). I've also gotten a response that the DMR-E30 won't play DVD-RW.
It would save me much agrivation if I could just go out and buy a DVD-RW burner (instead of trying to figure out this DVD-RAM issue), but I want to be certain it'll be compatible with my player first. Can anyone confirm if the Panasonic DMR-E60 will successfully play DVD-RW's?
Thanks

Well, I finally got hold of a DVD+RW and a DVD-RW to test in the Panny E60. The +RW didn't work, but the -RW did even though the manual says it doesn't support either of the RW's.
