Help avi to mpeg2 using TMEPnc give me 840MB for 30 min.

I use TMEPnc to convert AVI to SVCD, I got 840MB for 30 minutes, of course it's too large, can anyone help me to reduce the size and not loss quality to much?

that really isn't very large for a 'standard' svcd. I would expect about 800mb for 35min so you are not far off.

you can get good results and smaller sizes if you play around with the bitrate etc. Get Sefy's template from the tools section and play around with that. Read the sxvcd guide.txt in the zip file
