  1. Please post the BEST and WORST media in terms of burning reliability when using CD-RW media on a DVD writer.

Note the speed of the CDs are 4x, if you used higher CDs rated speeds than this please post as a comment the best and worst reliable with your DVD burner.

I want to know if people are having problems burning CD-RW disks with their DVD burners due to the type of dye and formulation of CD-RW media which may be better tuned to work on a CD-RW Writer and not on a DVD Writer.

I use a CD burner for CD-RW and a DVD burner for DVD media.

I only have 3 CD-RW discs, all Imation, had them for about 2 years. Used them dozens and dozens of times over.

Burned in Lite-On 16x drive (at 4x -RW) most of the time.

  5. yeah I am old school to CD writing and only use Mitsui gold... not all that much money and I just buy a 100pk and they last forever... never even thought about buying the ritek...

But when I started looking at DVD media I was like... F$&k spending $3 + per disk on DVD media lol and thats when I read quite a bit that ritek was excellent for DVD...

so maybe it should be added to the poll?
