  1. I used tmpgenc to convert a divx movie to mpeg 1,
following the instructions in the conversion guide
on this website, and the result was sorta pinkish

    Looks like this:
Movie plays, everything starts getting a pinkish glow
(faces turn piggy pink, objects get a pink aura), then
after a few seconds everything goes back to normal
(instantly) after which it goes pink->pinker->pinkest again

Could someone please tell me how to keep my original colors
when converting DivX to MPEG 1?

    thanks for any input

  2. I was gonna try and see if the Angelpotion codecs might
cause my color problems (was some hint about it in the
FAQ), however there is no uninstall in the start/program/...
folder and there doesn't seem to be an entry in the
    add/remove program section either

SOOOo...how does one get rid of angelpotion?

  3. WOHO After only 16 or so hours I solved my problem
Removing angelpotion codecs from my system made my
    color problems during conversion disappear

    Here is some sound advice:
if you plan on editing/capturing/converting video files
of any kind make sure you don't have the Angelpotion codecs
installed (if you do then remove them ASAP, delete them,
burn them, shove them up the author's *** )

  4. Hi Skywize!.. I am having the same problem. Please save me 16 hours and let me know how you removed Angelpotion. Thank you!
