Strange DVD burn results

I used smartripper to create a VIDEO_TS directory.
I used Nero to burn.
When I play the new DVD, it does not find all the chapters

I then tried using DVDFAB to create the VIDEO_TS files.
It creates a DISC 1 directory and a DISC 2 directory
The ripped DVD is not over 2 gig.

What did I do wrong ?

I'm not sure what you did wrong, if anything, but you might want to give DVD Shrink (a free proggy) a try.
