Good Evening,
After browsing this site and reading the guides, I believe that SVCD2DVDMPG is the tool that I need.
I just downloaded the latest version (I think) V1.1.1.29641. And installed it. I also had to install the MS .Net pieces as well.
It will let me browse to the file I want to convert via the working directory input line and select the desired output. However, when I select RUN, I immediately get the following error message:
"Directory not Found C:\.........."
Obviously the directory exists or else the input file could not have been found.
Any suggestions on how to get past this problem??
Thanks,
Ed

Don't browse to the file, browse to the directory containging the file. SVCD2DVDMPG works on the contents of folders not individual files.

Thanks to all for your responses.
yf2001usa,
I did the install and let the installer put it where ever it wanted to. So I would presume that it went to the correct / default folder.
Chrissyboy.
I will try that. I could not seem to get access to the help in order to search. Some type of internet URL misassignment. Anyway, no help was available.
I will try pointing to just the folder and not to the file itself.
Another question. I noticed that most of the posts talk about using the + version. I presume that is the version that you can purchase after you decide you like the trial version? Or is there a trial version of + that is available. I could not seem to find it on the SVCD2DVDMPG site.
Once again, thanks

"plus" version is now known as SVCD2DVD. There is a demo for SVCD2DVD: http://www.svcd2dvdmpg.com/SVCD2DVDMPG/Software/svcd2dvd_demo.aspx
