I have 4 svcd bin files that I would like to burn to a dvdr using TMPGEnc and TMPGEnc DVD Author. But need to join them and convert to a mpg file......can this be done?

Use svcd2dvdmpg and you will get mpgs that you can author in tmpgenc dvd author.
