    hi,
    i created a video file (mpeg) (1280x544 pixel size/resolution) and audio is 5.1 wav/ac3

i have so many different type of video (music video) likes.. MKV***, Avi**, rmvb, wmv etc..

i need a very good video joiner what can take my mpeg video and join that mpeg video.. to any video i select.. for example..
    mkv, avi etc..

that's mean it will create a new (joined) mkv file what first play my video then the original video..

please any one help me out as it is a very urgent problem

    best regards

Not a chance. A joiner ... joins. It's your job to make sure they can be joined. You'll have to reencode them so they have the same specs - format, resolution, framerate, audio, etc.

If DVD is OK, a program such as AVS2DVD can take files of differing formats and reencode them all to the DVD standard. But since you said MKV...

To join any different video formats you must re-encode something to the other. This includes any video and audio formats that may be the same format, but have different specs. That's the only way. I'm in the same agreement with Manono.

Even a diverse container like MKV won't allow such mergers.

Having said that, another good program that can take many different types, edit and encode them to one of several different formats is TMPGEnc Xpress. It's not free, but may be worth it if time is of the essence since it gets the job done reliably. If you prefer a challenge that can do an even better job, and you know what you're doing, AviSynth can be very effective.

In the end, if you still want MKV, you can always use MKVToolnix to mux the final streams into it.

I hate VHS. I always did.
