back again , I am going to persevere with this TMPGEnc encoding .

I have now got as far as pressing the start button and I get a message

You are trying to create mpeg-2 file , to playback mpeg-2 file DVD software is needed ? , then I press ok and message pops up cannot load
P3Package.dll

Any help appreciated please...

You should download an MPEG-2 codec, or buy Cyberlink PowerDVD which is a good player, and includes a codec.

I'm not sure about the second part of your problem, but maybe that will also be fixed if you do this.

The first message TMPG gives you can be ignored as far as encoding goes. It's TMPG's way of telling you that you cannot view the video you are creating on your computer unless you have the proper software (i.e. WinDVD or Power DVD). As far as the second message goes try reinstalling TMPG. When you open up the folder where TMPG resides you should see an icon labeled P3Package.dll. That should solve the problem.
