  1. Hi!
    This is kinda strange.
    And soooo irritating.

I do make backupz on DVD+R.
When making a copy or ripping it to the HD I sometimes get readerror.
    Strange.

I tried to make a copy just now, using NERO 6XXX.
Because of other times it went wrong, I chose not to go for "on the fly" copy.

I did get a read error.

So, I tried to copy and paste to get the files from the DVD to the HD.
Did get read error on some files.

    Here's the error message;
"cannot copy "VTS_04_5: Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)"

    This drives me mad.
I tried to lock at other posts, couldn't find anything.

I hope anyone can help me

cyclic redudancy usually means something physically wrong with the disc, scratch, smudge etc, try ripping with dvd decrypter first

    Phew!
    There I wrote it

This happens with 50% or so of my burned DVD+R's

I burn with decrypter and Nero

I'd try a different brand of DVD. I used to get errors when trying to copy files on about 30% of the disks I burned. When I quit using the cheapest DVDs I could find and spent a little more on blanks it went down to about 2%.
