    If I get a "Datel DVD RegionX" will I be able to play VCDs on my PS2?
    P.S Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I wasn't quite sure.

    The RegionX mod does exactly what it sounds like it would do, it removes region protection. It has nothing to do with vcds. There is currently no way possible to play vcds on the PS2.
