up side down movies

hello . ive down some home made movies encoded them with tmpenc ,so i can put them on dvd. done some yesterday which played fine on w media player , encoded some today which encoded right way up on tmpgenc ,went to watch them on w media player found they r playing upside down. but ones i did yesterday which was fine r now playing upside down please help someone

try play with powerdvd or windvd or some other dvd player.

You probably have some codecs problems...like installed a codec pack with too many codecs and filters.

they play fine on sonic dvd. but can i still burn them onto dvd? using dvd labs. if i do will they play upside down in dvd player

only had xvid codec ,now took off and has made no differance. wedding mpg film so um panicing here could it be a bug in windows media player can anyone help please

I also had this problem before, but it wasn't with mpeg movies per say. It was with quicktime *.mov files and then migratted to *.avi videos. The picture would display upside down when it was min in wmp. When I full screen'd it then it play'd right side up for 5 secs.. or so and then flip'd on me again.

I uninstalled QT 6.0 and installed WinDVD and it correctted the problem for me.

It should play right side up in your dvd player though. They use there own set of codecs to play videos.
