I am using DVDDecrypter 3.1.6.0 on a Windows XP (SP1) opperating system. I am trying to back up a copy of a Region 4 DVD to DivX. I have done so several times in the past without error.

Yes, I have ticked the remove/disable macrovision button!

I copy the VOB files to my HDD and run DVD2AVI to create a project for use within Gordian Knot, however when I preview the VOB files in DVD2AVI I have macrovision!

    What is going on???

    Any help would be appreciated!

  3. I'm sorry to butt in here asking a stupid question, as I'm completely stupidly new, but what the heck is macrovision, and I'm taking that it's something you do NOT want enabled?

I'm asking because I noticed you could tick the box to enable it in my DVDx version, and I was wondering wether I should or not.

    Thanx!

Did you copy the vobs off the dvd or did you let DVD Decrypter Rip the DVD to your harddrive?
