    was curious to know if you peeps are using a seperate reader and what ripper your using =)

    Whats a reader? You mean what DVD drive are people using along with what Ripping software?

    Lots say DVD Decrypter, lots say Smartripper, most have both installed just incase.

    Lite-on makes some fast cheap DVD drives, I still need to get one as 2x reads suck the big one.
    Ejoc's CVD Page:
    DVDDecrypter -> DVD2AVI -> Vobsub -> AVISynth -> TMPGEnc -> VCDEasy

    DVD:
    DVDShrink -> RecordNow DX

    Capture:
    VirualDub -> AVISynth -> QuEnc -> ffmpeggui -> TMPGEnc DVD Author
