  1. Hi Everyone,

I am currently trying out MemoriesToTV for still image slideshows and I really like it, however, when I burned a DVD it wouldn't play on my Pioneer DVD player (which plays everything), so I thought I need to burn it using TMGEN, but I don't have that program available to me. Here in lies my question(s).

Do I need to use TMGEN or can the plugin that comes with Memories be enough and provide DVD quality?

I wanted to let everyone know that I love this site and it has really taught me alot about digital imagery. Thank you so much.

I don't think so. What media are you using and which burning program did you use, the one built into Memories to TV?

  3. Hi jdizzy,

In Memories the burn options has "Native Encoder" (since I do not have TMGEnc) and I used FugiFilm DVD+RW media.

Also, I am using the Evaluation Copy, I really love the program, but have been bought so much junk I don't want to make another $50 mistake.

    Thanks for your help

Well I see that they have released yet another update to the program yesterday. Idid burn one DVD that played great in my pioneer (using Nero encoder) but the audio sounded like the chimpmunks in my Panasonic. So all I can suggets is download the newer trial version.
