    When the Betas were coming out back in August, I read on some post somewhere on this forum that the author (DVDShrink) said that the final release probably would not happen until "at least September".
    Since we're already over a week into September, it might be any day now, or maybe not until October or later. Who knows?

  3. Hello you two.

    dvdshrink did say he would start working again on DVD Shrink in September.
    However he never said it would be the final v3.0 release.
    It might just be another beta.

    Thanks, ddlooping;
    I knew that September was involved in the answer somehow. I just couldn't get any of the other details right.
    As far as being notified goes - if you watch this site, there will probably be a post about its release about one nanosecond after it is released. There are so many people here that use this great program that there will be no problem getting notified.

  7. I get paged when that thread gets updated.
    Now... that isn't as insane as the fact every now and then I check to make sure I didn't miss a page from it.

    Must... have... new... version.

  8. Heck, give the beta 5 a try!

    So far I love it, not one problem for me though I just got it a couple days ago and only ripped like 6-8 DVDs so far. But I did a variety, 2 3hr ones, an 8GIG one with both fullscreen widescreen, used deep anylize on one!

    Nothing been a problem yet, and quality I consider great!
    I did one DVD with Version 2.3 and liked that well also, but then was told about Beta 5 and got it. Used beta 5 for everything after the first one.

    Normally I am capturing, I just started ripping a couple days ago, like 2 or 3
