PVR 250 conflict with Promise TX 133 ata controller card

Hi,
I have a system with the below specs, when the promise card is in the system it locks up the PVR card. I have tried moving both the pvr and the promise card to different slots but the problem persists.
Anyone got a similar config working for them, or maybe a different ata controller card from some other manufacturer?
Is very frustrating that the card locks up every few minutes if I am using the promise card.

PVR 250 - slot 1
Audigy - slot 3
Promise Controller - slot 4
The PVR is assigned IRQ 18 and the promise card is on IRQ 17 (virtually assigned by XP)

Have try the Promise by it self without PVR 250 in the system?.
You may make you have latest Bois for Motherbaord and that Promise card

Just posted my reply in the SHS forum, anyone here got any ideas? An Adaptec 1200A card is doing the same thing.
Have tried SageTV also, so is not an app issue.
