  1. Can someone advise what I am doing wrong I have just installed avisynth following instructions tried to test in media player and I get this error message "invalid or corrupt data was encountered"

    Also... did the message pop up from media player, or wat the error message on the media player video window with red on black text?

    If you get the popup then you do not have it installed right, or you forgot to turn off extesion hiding and are feeding MP a text file. You can find out by going to a command prompt and doing a directory listing. If the file says ksdjfls.avs you are ok of it says slkdjfs.avs.txt then you have a problem.
