    Here is what I want:

    I have 1 MPEG1 file

    1. I use VCDEasy's Chapter page to set up my chapter entrypoints (mostly the equidistant feature).

    2. Now, for each of the entrypoints, I want to get a MPEG still as the first frame at that entrypoint.

    3. Say I have 12 MPEG stills. Now I want to create a menu that shows me these 12 stills (on multiple pages) with a number below them and when I press that number on my players's remote, it jumps to that entrypoint.

    Now, either,
4a. After playing that chapter, it should jump back to the main menu
4b. It should keep playing from every chapter on to the end.

I am really new to all this, so if someone could provide detailed steps, I would really appreciate it.

I read all the docs on this site and other sites, but couldnt really figure out a way to do all this.

    Thanks

  2. vcdeasy can do this in xml or pbc no bs.
use a cdrw and play around with pbc on vcdeasy rewrite when needed.

Point 3: To create menu pictures I am using the freeware Digital Picture Index Creator Version 0.9.2. You will find this software at http://www.cd2html.de/dpic.en.html.

Point 4: refer the description at https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/84327.php
