I am completely a novice, so please bear with me. What I would like to do is to take some sporting events I have taped to dvd, and create menus with audio and pictures. I do not know where to begin. A friend told me I first have to create a copy of the dvd on a computer file and then I need to put on to another dvd. I tried Roxio and also have My Dvd Maker, Creator Basic, Windows Dvd Maker, Light Scribe software on my computer.
I also tried to download audio sample from Real Player to put into the dvd menu, but they did not transfer over. Now I am really lost in terms of what I do first. How do I make a computer file copy of my dvd, and the audio and what type of file do i need to put it in?
Could someone please help point me in the right direction in terms of what the best software I can use for this would be and what to do first. Also how to download and bring over audio files.
Thanks

Tmpgenc Authoring Works. It can import from DVD and make nice menus easily.
