Problem playing DVD+RW/R over 4GB on standalone.

My Logix 3000 freezes on DVD+RW/R's over 4GB.
It's plays 4GB or less fine right through but if I go over it chokes on the last few minutes.
I burn with either Nero 5.5.9.9 or Ulead Movie Factory 2.
My source is usually a DVD rip or MPG2 encoded from DV with CCE 2.64.
Anyone else had this problem and solved it ?

thats probably your problem-that or the media you use.
try copytoDVD or another programme.

Sounds like a media problem to me.

I had 2-3 discs behave that way but they are from last year.

Have you tried playing them on other players?

BTW Nero5.5.9 should be updated to 5.5.10.50.
Whats the firmware you're using?

I've used various brands of disc but get the same problem each time.
My burner firmware is the latest from Ricoh (1.51) but I had the same problem before I upgraded.
My guess is it's a quirk with my DVD player so maybe a future firmware update for it will cure it.

The latest firmware is 1.64 at the moment.
