I am very new to this process, so this problem may sound very inferior but i just cant figure it out.
I loaded a avi file into virtual dub so i could split into 2 separate files. However it was encoded with a VBR audio format which may be the source of the problem. Upon the split i played one of the files in powerdvd and burnt the same file to disc. When i played them there is a audio problem where the sound is around 5 seconds behind the video, as the film progresses the audio lags further and further behind. This problem is present on both the disc and on powerdvd, so i must assume it is a problem with virtualdub. Can anyone help me on what to do to correct this problem.
