Instantcopy 8, 'hidden' authoring feature

I think I've found a way to crop the start/middle/end of any title you want, so you can get rid of the start/end credits of the movie for example

you can cut out partial or complete chapters/cells so it's like the reauthor feature in DVDShrink but you get to keep all the menus/extras also

all you do is change a few numbers in IFOEdit and anyone should be able to do it as no VOB modifying is needed, they remain untouched, just simple copy 'n' pasting figures does it

this is not fully tested as only I have tried it successfully, so I cannot yet say if it works 100% of the time as it needs testing by more users to check the results on standalones (especially fussy ones)

added two rough guides to remove cells and also crop the start/end titles just by simply modding the IFO and not touhing the VOB's

these only work with Instantcopy due to the fact you only change a few figures

I've tried this with IC7 update 2 and it works

I have had no playback problems on 3 standalones I have tried but some fussier players may barf on the DVD so it's best you try with a RW first

I would like to do a Get VTS before burning but choose not to, it's upto you whether you want to do it but it would involve extracting the files. I suggest you do it only if your player does not play the DVD to see of it makes it play

I will add another guide shortly that tells you how to replace the intros with another VOB of your choice
