I got a MovieBox DV... But I want to capture video from tv... And MovieBox DV doesn't have a Tv tuner, only a composite & S-video input. So is it possible to use a VCR as a tv tuner? I want to connect my VCR with MovieBox DV but I don't know how to do. It's a VCR with a Scart output but MovieBox DV doesn't have a scart intput![]()

I also own Moviebox DV and believe that you can turn your tv (regular tv hookup) to your VCR channel and change your channels with your VCR, then capture your TV program (through composite connection) with Studio or whatever capture app you are using. Hope it works for you. .... harrymj3

I used my MovieBox and a VCR as a TV. All you need to do is to connect
an Antenna to your VCR. Connect your VCR audio/video output to your
MovieBox. Connect IEEE1394 from the MovieBox to your computer IEEE1394.
Connect audio output from MovieBox to your computer line input of its
sound card. I used WinDV (which is free from the tool section of this
website) to view TV signal from MovieBox. -
Okay, I connect the vcr with the Moviebox DV... But the video I capture is black & white! I tried to set the videosystem on my vcr (yes my vcr is multisystem...) So I think it use a colorlayer (I don't know how to say) which is compatible with my tv but not with my capture card
Any solutions?
