    I would love to know who the manufacturer (media ID is good enough)
    of FMI DVD+R media is?
    Does anyone here know or have an idea?

    Just got a bunch from CompUSA.... unfortunately, all the programs that I have cannot identify the manufacturer....

    DVDInfo Pro, Minfo all report to be unknown.....

    I will see if they burn okay or not and let you know....

    The last batch of CompUSA DVD+R's I bought were Optodiscs, however that was a couple of months ago. My impression of them (based on Kprobe tests) is that they are good until you get near the 3GB mark, then the quality drops off very rapidly. YMMV of course.
