    let me break it down for you;

    guy1: win xp wont start

    guy2: try restarting

    guy1: still dont work

    guy2: keep restarting it until it does

    guy1: i've tried restarting it a buncha times, it still doesnt work

    guy2: i think you should keep trying to restart it


    funniest thread i've seen in a while..

    Yeah, it was kind of funny. Now he has 2 choices for a solution. I like my second suggestion best, but the other one will work too.

    It is important to keep your old hardware around. Even an old P166 running NT4 or 2000 comes in really handy. Or at least keep a couple of 2GB+ drives around. Those old drives can save your @ss when your machine gets F'ed!
    Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?

    HA! I am supprised that the mods did not close that. I would consider it warez. You are not legally able to give backups to anyone else, so why would he care if other people can copy them. Other people shouldn't even possess them. The only reson I can think he would want to protect them is if he was selling them.

    After all, he did not own the content. If he did, he would not have needed DVD shrink.
