  1. All,

I tried burning SVCDs to DVD using both SVCD2DVDMPG+ and the new SVCD2DVD v1.5, and while I get a great picture there was no sound in any of the three burns I attempted. When using SVCD2DVDMPG+, I had the BeSweet files in their own directory and also in the root directory; for the v1.5 SVCD2DVD I downloaded the current updates upon initial use, but no separate BeSweet download. In all cases, as I said before, zero sound. I'm sure I'm missing something elementary here, so respectfully request the forum's help in rectifying this frustrating problem.

FYI, if it's any help, there are never any files in my Audio_TS folder.

    Thanks in advance,

  2. On the point of no files in Audio_TS folder there never are, so nothing wrong there.
On the BeSweet thing that has been removed from both the new 1.5 and the old 1.1 as this was requested by the owner ? of the software. There is a thread somewhere in this forum about this matter.
What files are you starting with ? Bins & Cues or Mpegs ?

  4. Sounds like a problem with the files, although i have had a couple of issues with discs having no sound on certain dvd players while they work OK on mine. Do the converted files play OK using a software player like Power DVD on your PC ?

What is the audio on the original mpeg? Use AVICodec to find out.

Is the source NTSC with mpeg audio? If so is it that your player adheres strictly to the DVD spec: at least one audio stream must be AC3 for NTSC?
