Burned a Widescreen DVD and comes out Fullscreen

I appologize if this has been brought up before and answered, but the forum is so massive and the search tool did not bring up what I was looking for.

Okay, here's my problem:
I downloaded Shaolin Soccer NTSC DVD2One rip from BitTorrent, when I view it on my computer using PowerDVD it is widescreen and none of the info is cut off, but I burned it using Nero and then watched it in a stand alone DVD player, and it views at Fullscreen ratio, cutting off various things. Is there something I'm doing wrong in the burn process or is this normal??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i'm with LanEvo on this one, seems like blatant piracy. BUT, in the event that 'Shaolin Soccer NTSC DVD2One rip' is a perfectly legal home video....How did you watch it on PowerDVD without burning it first?
