Hi , I have DVD Shink 3 beta 5 installed, I have a movie on HD and I open it using DVDShrink, in the left window pane I see:-
-DVD
---Menus
------English
----------Root Menu 26MB
----------Menu2 1MB
----------Menu3 1MB
----------Menu4 1MB
----------menu7 11MB
---Main Movie
------Title1 3,612
---Extras
------title2
------title3
"
"
" ...and so on until
"
"
------title10
If I then select Re-Author, it opens up another window and has "New DVD" for DVD structure, I then drag and drop the Menus and Title1 to the new window, but the problem is the menus are not recognized as menus but rather just video that play one after another until it reaches the main movie. What do I need to do so that I have the above structure but without the "Extras"?

You have to understand that DVD Videos follow a file structure for a file format. You can't just drag/drop cut and paste them. DVD Menus are really nothing more than MPEG2 videos (still or motion) with a subpicture to define what the buttons do. The IFO files contain the information for chapter points, next/prev, menu buttons, etc.
What you really want to do is strip out all of the undesired parts of the DVD. You can do this with IFOEdit, but with DVD Shrink you can only choose 'make slide show.' Making a slide show still takes up a few MB of space thou.

There is a guide on this site that will show you how to do what you want, but you will need to have DVDXCOPY and DVDShrink.
Try this:
