  1. I have several anime files that are dual audio .ogm files encoded with Xvid for the video and Ogg for both audios. I want to make SVCDs out of these and after MUCH searching, I can't find any information that matches what I need, I've found a bit using other types of audio, but not Ogg. I just can't put my finger on this one. When I use VirtualDubMod, I check the File Information, it give me:
Video - FourCC: XVID XviD MPEG-4 Codec (I have Keropi)
Audio - Tag: 0xFFFE, Not decodable EXTENSIBLE Compression Unknown
I have TMPG Full Version, and can get ANY other software I need, just fill me in on what. I really would like to make SVCDs out of these, I DON'T even want to use the 2nd audio, which is Japanese, I only want the English Dialogue.

Thanks for your time, I'm a noob here, sorry for such a long post.

  2. Don't say your a noob, have some confidence in your skillz man, you will learn.

First of to begin with can you play your OGM files correctly...?

If you can't try this really excellent OGM player that installs the things necessary to play the OGM's correctly by clicking here

When you can play your files correctly and are ready to convert your OGM to SVCD, or SVCD with Multiple audio tracks and selectable subtitles depending on your DVD Player check out my pretty easy to use guide by clicking here

  3. Oh, I can make SVCD's like a mofo, I just can't past the XviD codec making my SVCD's backwards and upside down. ANY other codec I can deal with. I can play OGM's real well, I keep very up to date on codecs, I'm in #AnimeCorp. I have a Sampo DVD player, plays all my SVCD's perfectly, no glitches/hangups/out of sync. The only thing is still no matter how many different ways I try, no prog will let me convert any XviD encoded video into any that is right side up. I can make SVCD's, but they are all upside down even after conversion. If I try to view the mpeg2 after I encode it, it turns out fine on the PC, but not on the DVD player...I'm doing Rurouni Kenshin right now by the way. Thx for the reply, hope you can help out. msn messenger: Sheildbreaker@hotmail.com
