  1. why, if i have my DV cam in 30p Mode, i'm still getting interlaced images trought my TV card ?

    Are you setting up your capture program to not capture in interlace mode? Or if you are capturing from a NTSC source, are you deinterlacing your capture as it comes in?

    how can i do that ?

    i use Vdub to capture my videos with PicVideo codec.

    if i transfer my video trough the firewire, i don't get interlaced images, because the material that i've recorded is in 30p mode ( non-interlaced ).

    i don't want to "de-interlace" a video, that is not interlaced, that's ridiculous.

    why the video gets interlaced when capturing ?

    The analog video out of the camera IS interlaced.
    It plays on a TV doesn't it ?

  7. i want to connect my directv deco to the analog input of the camara, and transfer this trough the firewire. ( just need convert to digital )

    the images are going to come interlaced anyway ?

    wich's the difference between doing this with a hardware like the ADVC-100 and converting to digital with a Camcorder ?
