  1. I'm using a Toshiba SD R 5002 DVD writer and Princo DVD-Rs.

I ripped some movies using DVD Shrink 2.3 and burned them with Nero 6. That all worked fine.

Then I started watching the movies, and they begin hanging now and then for about a little less then a second.
The errors become more the longer the movie is playing.

Seems like a decompressing problem, I'm using a JVC S 300 DVD Player.

Has anyone an idea what might me the reason for this?

    Thank you so much!

If you had done your homework, you would have read quite a lot of issues like this with cheap (RE:"crap") media.

Follow the bug's advice and get better blanks.

  6. Since you're quoting UK sites, why not check out the sample packs from

    http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk and http://www.cdrmedia.co.uk

Try Riteks, Mirror (AN31), Nan-ya etc - Bulkpaq have improved recently but I still have problems with them near the edge (so far I have found the turquoise ones to be the best on my picky Sony DVD player).
