  1. I have been having a problem with the new beta. I cant seem to use the reauthor feature consistently. More often than not, when you click 'reauthor' none of the files show up for drag/drop. Any ideas what might be the problem and a possible remedy?

  2. huh/hmm?? Just to double check, you are aware that for DVD Shrink 3 (all betas) the re-author function has been modifed. When you click re-author it opens a new (2nd) windows. You can then drag/drop files from the 1st window, to the 2nd/new one. Then you hit back-up when you're ready.

Boy I hope this changes with the final release. 2.x was a lot easier and intuitive in the re-author mode. I love this program soooo much, but will probably stick with 2.x if the forced drag-n-drop thing stays.

  4. I think the drag n' drop is much easier. I just put 2 DVDs together on one disk with it and it works perfectly. thats actually my first time using the Re-author function, and knowing me I try it with a more advanced project (combining DVDs) but it was easy as cake. ........ How easy is cake anyway?

I too think the drag and drop in DVD Shrink 3 is easier.

    I rip both movies
    Open DVD Shrink
    Open first movie
    Press Re-author (Window 2 opens)
Drag out first movie to window 2
Open Second Movie on window 1
Drag second movie to window 2
    Close window 1
Do my biz on window 2
    Backup

Apparently DVDShrink (the author) doesn't like floating windows. So it will probably be changed for the final version.
